The Founders of Christianity

While there is the ever present anti-Christian sentiment amongst followers of the Sinister Path it is worth considering the origins of Christianity and perhaps of the so-called "Jews" themselves. Modern Hebrew scholars have themselves suggested that there is no historic or archeological evidence for a Nation or State of "Israel". Further, one scholar was bold enough to acknowledge that the Hebrew language itself derived from Greek, rather than the other way around.

While there is no question as to the gullibility and blind faith of the followers of the mythical "Jesus" (the slaves shall indeed serve!) it could be asked who are the masters behind the fraud? Many authors have pointed to the Pagan and Egyptian roots of Judeo-Christian religion, and the fact that the bible is hardly a work of "high culture" but more a tome of varying authenticity whose purpose has been to control the masses. Some authors claim the lineage of the Egyptians, and perhaps also the clever members of the mythical "tribe of Judah" have a Celtic origin, with traceable artifacts within the perpetrated religion of solar cult activity. It is left up to the reader to consider whether accepted history is correct, or whether the choice of other alternatives offers a better perspective.

Insight Roles

Undertaken seriously and allowing oneself to become fully immersed in the role will lead to profound changes in the Initiate/Adept. Living out a role means allowing oneself to be changed by the forms and structures behind the outward manifestation of particular ideology, philosophy or lifestyle. In one respect it can lead to a reconciliation of opposites, as various extremes are explored, and undertaken correctly an inner change will occur to balance out aspects of the mind.

Adeptship

"[Art] has brought us to individuation, to the wisdom of a genuine Adeptship founded upon the reconciliation of opposites."

Ponder the above quote from the document "A New and Numinous Art". While often only alluded to or discussed in short paragraphs on forms and roles, the goal of all occult training whether left or right hand path is the attainment of Adeptship through a reconciliation of opposites. This has serious ramifications to the Initiate of the Sinister Path who must reconcile their beliefs, the very essences, forms, and roles, which they identify with as a "Satanist", between being "left hand path", and being an Adept. What happens when the walker on the dark paths realises that to rebel against a form is to accept it - but merely identify with its opposite; demon est deus inversus.

Presencing The Dark

A reason why the Sinister Path is a very direct way to personal evolution is the presencing of the dark via a direct apprehension of acausal forces. The word "occult" simply means hidden, and it is within this darkness that the occultist, no matter whether of left or right hand path orientation, must look. On a personal level there is an exploration of the personal demons, personal darkness, and exploration of the personal unconscious. For the Adept presencing the dark within society offers a chance for that society to come face to face with its own darkness - an apprehension of things from the collective unconscious, and an unfolding and confrontation of Hell on Earth. Only by society becoming aware of its own darkness, its own Shadow Self, can the next stage in human evolution come about. As Carl Jung wrote: "When an inner situation is not made conscious, it appears outside as fate." This is why it is important for the Dark Gods to be brought back to public consciousness, and represenced upon the Earth. Without the hidden, occult, being made conscious (prescenced) mankind will remain as sleepwalkers, accepting their fate without even realising they can be as Gods themselves and create their own destiny.

To Follow the Dark Path

How does one follow the teachings of "traditional satanism", of the "Order of Nine Angles", or of the "left hand path" in general and yet remain truly a master of their own destiny? Like it or not, to accept the teachings of another person, the words of advice, is to allow oneself to be lead, not to demonstrate the noble characteristics of a leader, or the mythical qualities of heroic self discovery and overcoming of adversity. To compare one's own deeds with those of another is give away one's own power and remain a slave to that other person, living in the shadow of that person's glory. These are things that appeal to the intellect, and to keep one entranced within the polarities of unindividuated consciousness. Oh the joys of paradox!
